It doesn’t matter how the idea comes to life, I can’t ignore them. This is definitely one of the most common questions out there, especially from writers who are just getting to the publishing part. I believe no knowing the answer is also the source for a lot of bad experiences and disappointment. One of the big problems with answering this question is that a lot of writers don’t realize “self-publishing” is one of the most confusing terms in publishing today.
