    About the speaker:

    Venus Mason Theus describes herself as a late bloomer. Opting to press pause on her college and corporate careers to focus on marriage and family. Years later, she celebrated her 50th birthday by releasing her first book, Brown Paper Bag, a Christian novel. Venus became a member of the Detroit Chapter of the American Christian Writers and Motown Writers Network.

    Venus is the founder of the Anointed Pen Christian Conferences and workshops for emerging writers. In 2010, she became the President of the ACW which is now known as Scribes for Christ.

    Passionate about fortifying healthy marriage and family relationships, Venus leads several marriage enrichment groups for women who are either married and helping someday brides prepare for marriage.

    Venus has been married to the love of her life for 31 years and is a mother, grandmother and in addition to all else has been her mom’s full time caregiver for 21 years.
