Detroit Public Library Welcomes, Aaron Foley, a journalist and essayist whose work has appeared in The Atlantic, CNN, Forbes, The Detroit Free Press, Ebony, and BuzzFeed. A native Detroiter, Foley is the former editor of BLAC and author of How To Live In Detroit Without Being A Jackass, “a social guide to Detroit for all coastal transplants, wary suburbanites, die-hard natives, and everyone in between this book will help readers avoid falling into the “jackass” trap and become a productive, healthy Detroiter” .
